IT Legislation in Estonia in 1998

No new IT laws were adopted in Estonia in 1998, but Parliament did adopt a document called "The Principles of Estonian Information Policy". Also, Estonia's Act of Archives went into force in the summer of 1998, and many draft IT laws were prepared for forwarding to the government.
